Well... I did it! I made steps to start the road to self employment as a photographer. 

I managed to shoot my first client and have seen some great feedback on my images. Now it's just about building the fanbase and clients even more!

Ya know... I'm almost certain I should shoot more pictures... I just can't bring myself to get off my ass and go do it. I'm enjoying education too much at present. Spending hours everyday learning stuff that fascinates me and helps me improve at the things I enjoy.

So today it hit me. How the hell do I make a difference? How the hell do I make something that hits people right in the face? 

If you didn't already know I write music alongside my buddies in the band Karhu, a Finnish and English combination of people. We write political and personal experience based metal with regards to lyrics.

But metal isn't for everyone, so how can I start to take the things that really REALLY REALLY bug me, and make a difference somehow?

Music is one outlet, but what's another? You guessed it! Photography!

So another issue that really bugs me..

Rape, Murder and Negligent parental upbringing...

My next project will consist of subject matter that aims to tackle these issues in my own way. It's a deep one, serious and not for the light hearted. 

But I didn't get into myself and further my own education each day to ignore the dark shit that happens in life. I want to expose it, make people aware of it and get people to make a difference.

Too many times have people stood around and done nothing. So this is how I'm going to vent.

I just stumbled across this guy called Tobias Richter and I swear down, this guy is the best Landscape Photographer I have ever seen to date. At least he is my favourite.

Another favourite of mine is a guy called John Finney.

Tobias seems to take all of the things I enjoy about landscape shots and take them up a few notches in every aspect.

*cough* sorry about that! I've JUST successfully planned, executed and posted my first EVER personal project. It's taken 12 hours of solid work to piece it all together by MAN did it turn out better than I thought!

The project was on Drink Driving and the effects it can cause.
